The Mohn Westlake Foundation is pleased to support Let Me Know (LMK), a charity helping teach young people how to build positive, healthy relationships, free from abuse.
Offering free workshops to schools, youth groups and community organisations, LMK teaches teens to spot and stop unhealthy relationship behaviours in themselves and others, using the 10 Signs framework.
LMK’s workshops cover practical life-skills like ‘setting boundaries’, ‘consent’ and ‘breaking up safely from an abusive relationship’, giving young people the tools and confidence they need to speak out, seek help and keep themselves and their friends safe.
The charity equips young people to have healthy relationships during their teen years, but also embeds behaviours and expectations that are carried through into adult life.
The Mohn Westlake Foundation’s grant will support the charity’s strategic growth, bolstering a proactive, prevention programme that reduces levels of domestic violence, relationship abuse and sexual assault for young people aged 11-18 yrs.
